Frequently Asked Questions

About Us.

The Horseshoe Bend Optimist Club was formed in 1993.
Many think of us as a football club because we participate in the Boise Valley Optimist Club and Canyon County football leagues. However, it would probably be wiser to call us the recreation district for our community. In addition to football, the Horseshoe Bend Optimist Club sponsors t-ball, baseball, softball, co-ed league softball, basketball, cheer, and volleyball. Coordinating that many activities with volunteer leaders and coaches is a big chore.
In addition to it we are teaching and inspiring sportsmanship among the players, coaches, and parents.
